My house has been emptied and cleaned (and possibly rented to a new and wonderful person) and Caleb and I have packed everything we own into a shipping crate, a mailed box, and the back of his truck and we're driving toward the homeland!
After some last-minute complications (quickly straightened out), we left Olympia on the 1st instead of the scheduled 31st.
We drove until about 45 minutes outside Leavenworth where we set up tent and got our fill of sleep after a long drive in bumper-to-bumper traffic. In the morning, we got up, said goodbye to the farm and Leavenworth, and headed East again.
Spent last night by the Grand Coulee Dam near Electric City where we went on a tour of the facilities and watched a laser show - tented out for the night by Lake Roosevelt - and now we're heading over the Rockies!
